Common Issues
Connection issues
mcporter fails to authorize Coupler.io MCP
mcporter can fail to follow the manual OAuth process required to connect to Coupler.io MCP. Use mcporter auth --http-url https://mcp.coupler.io/mcp --persist config/mcporter.json --reset command to overcome this or consult with the skill.
Data issues
Data types are not what I expected in OpenClaw
OpenClaw may infer data types differently than your source system. Numbers stored as text, dates in non-standard formats, or mixed-type columns can cause issues. Before syncing, check your source data in Coupler.io and clean up inconsistencies. For example, ensure all dates are in a standard format (YYYY-MM-DD) and numeric columns contain only numbers. You can use Coupler.io's data preview to spot these issues before the flow runs.
Large datasets timeout or fail to sync
OpenClaw may have limits on dataset size. If you're syncing very large datasets (millions of rows), consider filtering your source data in Coupler.io to only include rows you actually need to analyze, or breaking your sync into smaller, more focused datasets by date range or category.
