Coupler.io Features & Limits
Our pricing is designed to let you only pay for effective usage. Coupler.io has a set of features and limits that are defined by the billing plan. Please see our Pricing Page for a full comparison of all plans and their features & limits. Now, let's dive deeper into those.
Features with limits
These features have a clear plan-based limit. Depending on the feature, this can refer to the number of accounts you can use, the refresh frequency available on your plan, and more.
Accounts
A limit that refers to the number of accounts you can connect in Coupler.io.
An account is a single advertising, analytics, CRM, finance, or other source account. For instance, if you connect Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads, that counts as 3 accounts.
Current account limits per pricing plan:
1 account
3 accounts
15 accounts
50 accounts
Custom
With the Active plan, you can connect up to 15 accounts in total. These 15 accounts can come from one source or from several different sources:
4 Google Ads accounts
3 Facebook Ads accounts
5 Google Analytics accounts
3 HubSpot accounts
That setup uses all 15 available accounts on the Active plan. This does not mean 15 accounts per source. It means 15 connected accounts overall across all the sources you use.
Once you add the maximum number of accounts allowed by your current billing plan, you will see the following warning:
You have reached the limit of accounts you can use this billing period. Please consider to upgrade your billing plan.
Once you exceed the account limit and run a data flow, your data flows will fail with the following error:
Last import was finished with an error: You've exceeded the maximum number of accounts allowed by your plan. Please upgrade to add more connections or disable an existing one.
To continue running your data flows, you will need to:
Disable or delete some accounts until you're within your current plan's account limit
Upgrade to a plan with more accounts
Contact the support team to buy additional accounts for your current paid plan
Please see this limit described in detail in the dedicated article: Accounts limit calculation
Users
You can invite people to your Coupler.io account for shared use.
The number of users you can add depends on your current billing plan. Current user limits are:
1 user
1 user
Unlimited
Unlimited
Unlimited
Once you add the maximum number of users to your account on your current billing plan, you will see the following warning on the Users page:
User limit reached. You have already added X users out of X available in your XXX plan. Please upgrade your plan to invite more users.
If you downgrade to a plan with fewer user seats than your previous plan, and your current number of users exceeds the new limit, you'll see this error on your dashboard:
User limit exceeded. Your account is switched to view only mode due to the exceeded user limit. To continue using Coupler.io, please remove users or upgrade your plan.
To continue using Coupler.io without restrictions, you will need to delete some users until you are within the current limit or upgrade to a plan with more user seats.
Data destinations
A data destination is an application where you can export your data using Coupler.io, such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Looker Studio, Power BI, BigQuery, etc. Your plan determines how many different destination applications you can use. Current data destination limits are:
1 destination
1 destination
3 destinations
Unlimited
Custom
For example, the Starter plan includes 1 data destination. If your first data flow exports to Google Sheets, all subsequent data flows must also use Google Sheets. You cannot export to Looker Studio, BigQuery, or any other destination until you upgrade or reconfigure your setup.
To switch destinations, you need to:
Delete all the data flows using your current destination and create a new data flow with your new preferred destination
Update destinations in all data flows to the new preferred destination you chose
Once you reach the maximum number of data destinations on your current billing plan, you will see the following warning on the dashboard:
Data destinations limit exceeded. You've exceeded the maximum number of data destinations allowed by your plan. Please upgrade to add more destinations or disable an existing one.
Your data flows will also start to show this error:
Last import was finished with an error: You've exceeded the maximum number of data destinations allowed by your plan. Please upgrade to add more destinations or disable an existing one.
To continue running your data flows, you will need to change the destination to stay within your current plan's data destination limit or upgrade to a plan with a higher limit as needed.
Please see the list of all the data destinations supported by Coupler.io here
Data refresh
Coupler.io allows you to automatically run your data flows on a schedule to eliminate manual work.
You can schedule your data flow runs with intervals ranging from monthly to every 15 minutes, depending on the billing plan. Current data refresh limits are:
Manual
Daily
Daily
Hourly
Every 15 minutes
Please see this feature described in detail in the dedicated article: Automatic data refresh
Workspaces
Workspaces are separate environments inside a Coupler.io organization. An organization is the top-level account. It controls billing and contains one or more workspaces.
A workspace is an isolated space with its own data flows, connections, dashboards, and users. This makes it easier to separate work by client, team, or project while keeping everything under a single login and a single bill.
Current workspace limits are:
1 workspace
1 workspace
1 workspace

Even though workspaces are isolated, usage is still counted at the organization level. For example, if you connect the same source account in two different workspaces, it counts twice for billing purposes.
Data volume
A limit that defines how many rows of data you can pull from your data source in a single run. Current data volume limits are:
100 rows
5,000 rows
Unlimited

How is the data volume limit calculated?
The data volume limit is calculated on the data source level. It is not a cumulative limit - each bigger value replaces a smaller one.
Note: Data Volume is defined by the number of rows your data source returns before the "Data sets" step in Coupler.io.
The data volume limit is calculated on the source data before any transformations in the Data sets step, not on the filtered output. If you pull 150 rows but filter down to 80 in Data sets, the run still counts as 150 rows against your limit. To stay within your limit, filter data at the source level.
If you try to fetch more rows than your current plan allows, you will see a corresponding warning message:

This notification is only visible after a data flow's finished run that exceeds the limit. If you reduce the dataset you're pulling to stay within your allowed data volume limit, this warning message will disappear.
Your data will be imported to the destination in any case. However, if your data volume limit is reached, you'll get a cutout dataset.
Please see more in our dedicated article: Import finished successfully, but data was truncated
The data volume limit is calculated separately for each data source. Once a scheduled data flow hits this limit, you will receive an email notification and automatic data refresh will be paused for that flow. To resume automatic runs, upgrade your plan or reduce the data size.
AI Agent
AI Agent is a built-in data analysis agent designed to work with your data flows in Coupler.io out of the box. Credit usage is based on how much data and context are given to the agent and how detailed the analysis requested is. The monthly credit limit resets each billing cycle. Current limits are:
100 credits
100 credits
500 credits
1,000 credits
2,000 credits

AI Insights
AI Insights is an AI-generated summary of your Coupler.io Dashboard data. When you open a native Coupler.io Dashboard and click the AI Insights button, it analyzes your data and generates an organized summary without any manual input.

Each click of the AI Insights button for the first time (or the Re-generate Insights button for a fresh summary) counts as one AI insight.
The number of AI insights you can generate per billing cycle depends on your plan.

Features without limits
Data sources
A data source is an application where you can pull data from using Coupler.io (e.g., Google Sheets, QuickBooks Online, Google Ads, etc.).
All plans, including the Free subscription, provide access to all 400+ data sources. The Free plan is limited to connecting 1 data source application at a time, which counts toward the account limit. Paid plans have no restriction on the number of different source applications you can use, subject to your account limit.
Please see the list of all the data sources supported by Coupler.io here
Dashboard templates
Coupler.io offers a catalog of 200+ pre-built reporting dashboard templates available on every plan. Note that templates requiring more connected accounts than your plan allows will not be fully usable until you upgrade.
