Can I import from OneDrive for Business (SharePoint) or only personal OneDrive?

Both work the same way. OneDrive for Business is part of your Microsoft 365 account, so just sign in with your work email and the file picker will show your SharePoint and OneDrive files together.

What if the Excel file is shared with me by someone else?

Shared files work perfectly — they'll show up in the file picker once you've signed in. You need at least read access to the file. If you can't see it in the picker, make sure the file owner has shared it with your specific email address (not just a generic link).

Can I import multiple sheets from the same workbook?

Yes! When you select a file, you can specify multiple sheet names (enter each on a new line). You can also use the Append transformation to combine data from different sheets into a single dataset.

What happens if I rename the sheet in Excel after I've set up the data flow?

The data flow will break because it's looking for the old sheet name. You'll need to update the sheet name in your data flow configuration to match the new name in Excel.

Can I import a specific range instead of the entire sheet?

Yes. Use the Range parameter to specify which cells to import (e.g., A1:Z100). If you leave it blank, all data in the sheet will be imported.

What file types does OneDrive support?

Coupler.io supports Excel files (.xlsx and .xls). CSV and other file types are not supported. If your data is in another format, first convert it to Excel in OneDrive.

Can I send OneDrive data directly to Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI platforms?

Yes! After importing your data, choose Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, Perplexity, or OpenClaw as your destination. This is perfect for summarizing reports, analyzing data, or generating insights from your Excel files.

How large can my Excel file be?

OneDrive files can be quite large, but very large files (10+ MB) may take longer to import. For optimal performance, try limiting your import to a specific range or archiving older data to a separate file.

What if I see "Could not obtain a WAC access token"?

This is a temporary Microsoft connectivity issue. Wait a few minutes and try running the data flow again. If it persists, verify that you still have access to the file and your internet connection is stable.

Do I need to reconnect my account if I change my Microsoft password?

Yes. After changing your password, go to your data flow settings and click "Reconnect source." Sign in with your new password to re-authorize Coupler.io.

Can I consolidate data from multiple Excel files?

Not directly in a single data flow. However, you can create separate data flows for each file and use the Append transformation to combine them in your destination (Google Sheets, BigQuery, etc.).

What if my Excel file has formulas — will they be imported?

No, only the calculated values are imported, not the formulas. If you need formulas in your destination, you'll need to recreate them there.

Can I schedule the data flow to run automatically?

Yes, but first you need to complete a successful manual run. Once the data flow runs without errors, you can set up a schedule (hourly, daily, weekly, etc.) in the data flow settings.
