FAQ

chevron-rightCan I pull data from multiple LinkedIn Ads accounts at once?hashtag

Yes. When configuring your data flow, you can select multiple ad accounts in the Ad accounts field. All selected accounts will be included in a single export. If the accounts have different structures, use Append mode to combine their data cleanly in your destination.

chevron-rightHow do I get ad names in my analytics report?hashtag

LinkedIn's API doesn't include ad names in analytics reports — only creative IDs. To get ad names, add a second source using the Creatives entity in the same data flow, then use Coupler.io's Join transformation to match the two datasets on the creative ID field. See the Data Overview article for more detail on available fields.

chevron-rightWhy am I limited to 18 metrics?hashtag

This is a LinkedIn Ads API restriction — not a Coupler.io limitation. LinkedIn only allows 18 metrics per analytics request. If you need more, create a second data flow with the additional metrics using the same dimension and date range, then join the two outputs on the shared key columns (e.g., creative ID + date).

chevron-rightCan I get company-level or country-level data per campaign?hashtag

Yes, but you have to choose one dimension at a time in Ad analytics by single dimension. Select the Member country or Company dimension to see performance broken down geographically or by target company. If you need both dimensions together, use Ad analytics by multiple dimensions and add both — check first that LinkedIn supports that combination.

chevron-rightWhy is the Reach metric empty in my report?hashtag

LinkedIn withholds reach data when the audience segment is too small, for privacy reasons. This returns a null value for approximateUniqueImpressions and related fields. This is a LinkedIn platform behavior and cannot be overridden. Try aggregating over a longer time period or a broader audience segment.

chevron-rightHow do I export LinkedIn Lead Gen Form submissions?hashtag

Use the Sponsored leads entity. You can leave the Lead generation forms filter blank to export all submissions, or pick specific forms if you want a per-form breakdown. Set a start date to limit how far back the export goes. The leads will include form field responses and submission timestamps.

chevron-rightCan I combine LinkedIn Ads data with other ad platforms?hashtag

Yes. Set up separate data flows for each platform (e.g., LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Meta Ads) and use Coupler.io's Append transformation to stack them into a unified dataset. Make sure the metric and dimension column names align across sources, or use the Join transformation if you're matching on a shared key like campaign name or date.

chevron-rightCan I send LinkedIn Ads data to an AI tool for analysis?hashtag

Yes. Coupler.io supports AI destinations including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor, and OpenClaw. You can send your LinkedIn Ads performance data directly to these tools for automated insights, anomaly detection, or natural language summaries.

chevron-rightWhy does my data flow time out?hashtag

Timeout errors happen when a request is too large — usually a combination of many ad accounts, a long date range, daily granularity, and many metrics. Narrow the date range to 30 days or less, reduce your metric count, or split the data flow into smaller pieces. See Common Issues for more troubleshooting steps.
