Connection issues
OAuth authorization fails or redirects to an error page
Make sure you're logged into the correct Quora Ads account in your browser before clicking Connect in Coupler.io. If you manage multiple Quora accounts, clear your browser cookies or use an incognito window to sign in with the right account, then retry the connection.
My ad account doesn't appear in the account selector
The OAuth token only grants access to accounts tied to the Quora login you authorized. If the account belongs to a different login or you're an invited user with restricted permissions, you may not see it. Ask the account owner to grant you access directly in Quora Ads, then reconnect.
Missing data
Lead data is missing or incomplete for older dates
Quora's API limits how far back the List of recently collected leads entity can fetch. If you need full lead history, set up a scheduled data flow with frequent refreshes (daily or more) and use the Append mode in your destination to accumulate data over time. Don't rely on a one-time historical pull for leads.
No data returned for a specific date range
Check that your ad account had active campaigns and spend during the selected period. Also confirm that the Report period is set correctly — if you're using a custom range, use the date picker to verify the start and end dates are not reversed or overlapping incorrectly.
Data discrepancies
Numbers in Coupler.io don't match what I see in Quora Ads UI
This is a common issue, especially for ad-level historical data. A few things to check:
Dimension mismatch — Make sure the dimension in Coupler.io (Account, Campaign, Ad set, Ad) matches the view you're comparing in the Quora Ads dashboard.
Date range mismatch — The Quora Ads UI may default to a different time zone or date window. Confirm both are using the same period.
Attribution window — Quora Ads may retroactively update conversion data as attribution windows close. Pull data for completed periods (e.g., Last Month) rather than in-progress ones for the most stable numbers.
Data latency — Today's data in Quora Ads may not be fully processed. Use Yesterday or a completed period for reconciliation.
Full historical load returns different totals than expected
When using All time with daily splits at the ad level, very large datasets can sometimes time out or return partial results. Try breaking the load into smaller date ranges using the Custom period option — for example, pull data quarter by quarter — then use the Append transformation to combine the results.
Rate limits
Data flow fails with a rate limit or timeout error
Quora Ads API has rate limits that can affect large or frequent requests. If you're pulling ad-level daily data for a long historical period across many ads, the request size may exceed limits. Reduce the scope by narrowing the date range, filtering to specific campaigns or ad sets, or splitting the pull across multiple data flows.
