Instagram Insights

Instagram Insights gives you detailed performance data about your Instagram account, posts, stories, and followers. With Coupler.io, you can automatically export this data to Google Sheets, Excel, BigQuery, Looker Studio, or even AI destinations like Claude and ChatGPT — on any schedule you choose.

Why connect to Coupler.io?

  • Automated reporting — Set up once, then let data flow automatically to your spreadsheet or warehouse on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule.

  • Multiple report types — Access post performance, account overview, follower demographics, story insights, and more without manual exports.

  • No code required — Connect via Instagram's native sign-in and choose your report in seconds.

  • AI-ready — Send Instagram data directly to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, or Perplexity for analysis and insights.

How to connect

1

Sign in to Instagram. Click "Connect" and choose the Instagram account you want to analyze. You'll be taken through Instagram's OAuth flow to authorize Coupler.io to access your account's insights.

2

Select your profile. If your Instagram account has multiple business profiles or sub-accounts, choose which one to analyze.

3

Choose a report type. Pick from 17 different report types — for example, "Post: performance totals" shows all your posts' engagement metrics, while "Profile: followers daily breakdown (last 30 days)" tracks new followers over time.

4

Set date filters (if needed). Some reports require a start and end date. Use the date pickers to define your reporting window. Other reports, like account overview, don't need dates.

5

Choose your destination. Pick where your data goes — Google Sheets, Excel, BigQuery, Looker Studio, or an AI destination like Claude or ChatGPT.

6

Run the data flow. Click "Run" to pull your Instagram data for the first time. Once this completes successfully, you can schedule the data flow to run automatically.
