FAQ

chevron-rightWhat will happen with data flows, dashboards and connections created by the removed users?hashtag

When you remove a user from a workspace, all resources they created must be reassigned to another user to ensure your workflows continue functioning without disruption.

Will be transferred to a new owner and what no:

square-check All data flows - Every data flow they created, including scheduled and manual flows will be reassigned to new owner.

square-check All dashboards - Every dashboard will be reassigned to new owner.

square-check All connections - Both shared AND private connections to sources and destinations. Even if a connection was marked as "private," it will be transferred to new owner to keep workflows functioning.

square-xmark Chats with AI agent - Will be not reassigned and removed .

All reassigned data flows appear on the data flows list for the new owner. The new owner is able to perform all actions with the data flows as they were created by him: run, edit, copy, and delete. Same valid for connections.

chevron-rightDo I have to reassign resources every time?hashtag

Yes, always. The reassignment popup appears every time you remove any workspace user, regardless of:

  • Whether they're an Admin, User, or Guest

  • Whether their resources are shared or private

  • How long they've been in the workspace

Why this happens: The system requires reassignment confirmation every time to:

  • Prevent accidental workflow disruptions

  • Ensure no "orphaned" resources exist

  • Maintain clear ownership chains

  • Protect data integrity

Even if the user has no resources:

  • The popup still appears

  • You must still select someone from the dropdown (you can select yourself just to be safe)

  • Click "Transfer and Remove" (nothing will actually transfer if not created in parallel with user deletion)

  • This ensures consistency and prevents accidental disruptions

chevron-rightWhat if the user created resources in multiple workspaces?hashtag

If a user is a member of multiple workspaces and you remove them from just one:

In the workspace you're removing them from:

  • All their resources in THIS workspace are reassigned to the person you select

  • They lose access to THIS workspace only

In other workspaces:

  • They keep access to all other workspaces where they have roles

  • Their resources in other workspaces remain under their ownership

  • Nothing changes in those workspaces

Example:

  • John is a User in Workspace A, Workspace B, and Workspace C

  • You remove John from Workspace A and reassign his resources to Sarah

  • John still has access to Workspace B and Workspace C

  • John's resources in Workspace B and C remain his

  • Only Workspace A resources were transferred to Sarah
